Boquete is a small mountain town in Panama, near Costa Rica, in the green mountain highlands.  Its scenic location, temperature, and natural environment make it attractive to people from all over the world.

Boquete has annual festivals such as the Jazz & Blues Festival, the Orchid Festival and the Flower & Coffee Festival. These events draw international crowds. The butterfly habitat and local bees provide excellent honey, sights and wonders for the local insects. The dry season, also known as the rainbow or high season, is December through April. The wet season is generally May through November. The wet season typically means afternoon rains for a couple of hours.
